This privacy policy explains how DVE Creative Ltd ("DVE Creative", "we", "us") collects and uses your personal data when you visit dvecreative.co.uk or get in touch with us. We are the data controller for the information you provide. We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your data in line with UK data protection law (UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018).

How we use it

We use the information you provide only to respond to your enquiry, discuss your project, and — if we work together — to deliver and manage that work. We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for automated decision-making or profiling.

Our lawful basis

We process your contact details on the basis of our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries about our services, and, where relevant, to take steps to enter into a contract with you. You are never obliged to provide information, but we may not be able to help if you don't.

Who we share it with

We use trusted service providers to run this website and handle enquiries, who act as our data processors:

Netlify — website hosting and contact-form processing.

These providers only process your data on our instructions. We do not share your information with anyone else unless we are required to by law.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry information only for as long as needed to respond to you. If we don't end up working together, we'll normally delete it within 12 months of our last contact. If we do work together, we keep relevant records for the duration of the project and for up to 6 years afterwards to meet our legal, accounting and tax obligations, after which we securely delete them.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to or restrict how we use it, and to data portability. To exercise any of these, email hello@dvecreative.co.uk and we'll respond within one month.

If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the UK's data protection regulator, the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), at ico.org.uk.

Data security
